Webinar: Evaluating the Potential for Water Savings in Urban Outdoor Irrigation

February 20, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

NACD February 2020 U&C Webinar – Evaluating the Potential for Water Savings in Urban Outdoor Irrigation

“Evaluating the Potential for Water Savings in Urban Outdoor Irrigation” is the topic for the NACD Urban and Community Conservation webinar set for 12:00noon-1:00pm Eastern time on February 20, 2020.

The Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE) has been conducting a number of studies over the past four years to look at the best practices and outcomes for reducing urban outdoor water use since it is the largest single area of drinking water use in the urban sector. An AWE representative will present the results of three studies that have been released to date (Peak Demand Management, Landscape Transformation, and Drought Restrictions), which will provide valuable information for conservation districts as they work with homeowners, land users and communities across the country.

These popular webinars, held on the third Thursday of each month, are sponsored by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation in partnership with the NACD Urban and Community Resource Policy Group. There is no cost to participate, but space is limited. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
