Federal and State Policy
Conservation districts work locally but recognize that some issues require state, regional, or national coordination. WACD works to include conservation districts in natural resources policies where appropriate and to increase the awareness of their work.
2020 Legislative Session
Each year the conservation districts of Washington gather in Olympia for Legislative Days, educating legislators on the natural resources issues in their communities and the effect of state policy on the work of conservation districts.
