Wildlife Habitat
Conservation districts around the state are actively involved in protecting and restoring terrestrial, wetland, and aquatic habitat. With roughly half the state’s critical habitats occurring on privately held land, conservation districts provide much needed technical and financial assistance to engage private landowners in habitat enhancement projects and programs.
