WACD Governance
WACD is led by volunteers dedicated to preserving Washington’s natural resource through voluntary incentive-based conservation. Our leadership consists of supervisors and staff from Washington’s 45 conservation districts volunteering their time and skills to the association.
WACD Officers
WACD officers are elected by the association to provide leadership and in some cases represent WACD at either the state or national level. These individuals are charged with administering and executing the policies of the association, in addition to their own defined responsibilities.

WACD Board of Directors
Serving as the governing body of the Association between annual meetings, the Board of Directors meet quarterly or as needed. Consisting of the Officers, two elected Area Directors from each of the six area associations, and President of the Washington Association of District Employees (WADE) the Board discuss and take action on issues relevant to Washington's conservation districts.

WACD Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is the yearly gathering of the membership. Held the week after Thanksgiving each year, every supervisor of a dues paying member-district of WACD is a voting member at our Annual Meeting and associate supervisors can be credentialed by their local conservation district board.
At an Annual Meeting WACD Officers are elected, resolutions are adopted expressing the official position of the association on issues related to conservation districts, and changes to the Articles or Bylaws are considered in addition to reports from committees and WACD staff.
