Skagit Conservation District selected for state grant, April 8, 2019

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Fines paid for water quality violations in Washington in the last few years will fund a project on the Skagit River.

The Washington Department of Ecology considered 32 grant requests from local governments, utility districts and fisheries enhancement groups across the state, but only 12 projects made the cut.
